Anne + Joseph = Meant to Be

A Beautiful June Wedding

Photographer: JB Wedding Photography

Ceremony/Reception: The Bowery Barn

Anne and Joseph's wedding was a picture perfect day!

For Anne's bouquet, she chose a handheld with stems and texture. It included hydrangea, peonies, Viking daises, monte casino aster, stock, solidago, roses, seeded eucalyptus, and greens in the colors of cream, yellow, and green with a light blue accent. The bouquet was finished off with a wrap in burlap with lace overlay. For Joseph's boutonniere, he had two ivory spray roses with solidago, white monte casino aster, blue delphinium, yellow Viking mum, and greens wrapped in brown twine.

Both their ceremony and reception took place at The Bowery Barn in Ashippun, Wisconsin. At the ceremony, the couple said their "I do's" surrounded by their many friends and family. Their day continued on to their reception, where much love, laughter, and music flowed. All of this was captured beautifully by JB Wedding Photography.

We were so happy to have been part of this couple's special day! Congrats Anne and Joseph, we wish you many years of love and happiness!

Memorial Union Wedding

Jenna + Jerry = Love at First Sight

A Stunning June Wedding

Jenna and Jerry's wedding was so much fun!

Jenna's bridal bouquet was timeless. Her bouquet was a handheld with stems and some texture that was wrapped with love knots. It included garden roses, mother of pearl roses, ranunculus, lisianthus, stock, and seeded eucalyptus in the colors of ivory and sandy. The bridesmaids had bouquets like Jenna's but smaller and wrapped in forest green. For Jerry, his boutonniere included ivory ranunculus and spray rose with seeded eucalyptus. All the groomsmen had one spray rose with greens. At the reception, we dressed the tables with loose greens and candles to tie the day together seamlessly.

While the forecast called for rain, there was not a single drop! The couple's ceremony took place at the Allen Centennial Gardens on the UW Madison campus. They were surrounded by many friends and family as they tied the knot in the outdoor gardens. The couple's day continued on to their reception at Memorial Union on Lake Mendota. There, they took adorable couple photos on the dock and celebrated being Mr and Mrs with much music, dancing, and love flowing throughout the night.

We were so happy to have been part of this couple's special day! Congraulations to Jenna and Jerry, here's to many years of love and memories!

Country Springs Wedding

Anne + Josh = Meant to Be!
A Gorgeous October Wedding

Photographer: Matt Mason Photography
Florist: Bank of Flowers
Ceremony: St. William's
Reception: Country Springs

We are still gushing over Anne and Josh's wedding!

Anne and Josh picked out some amazing wedding flowers! For Anne's bouquet, she chose a cascade style with some texture. Her flowers were roses, spray roses, dahlias, carnations, stock, hypericum berries, as well as plenty of greens in the color pallet of cranberry, pink, peach, tangerine, and dark purple/plum. Josh had a boutonniere of a cranberry dahlia with peach hypericum and greens. These wedding flowers were for sure one of our favorites!

The couple's ceremony took place at St. William's, surrounded by many family and friends. They then moved to the reception, the ballroom of Country Springs, where the music and love flowed throughout the night.

We are so thankful to have been part of this couple's special day! Congrats to Anne and josh, here's to many years of love and happiness!

Silver Spring, Love is in the Air!

Paul and Debbie = LOVE

Month: October
Florist: Bank of Flowers
Ceremony: St. James Church, Menomonee Falls
Reception: Silver Spring Country Club, Menomonee Falls
Photographer: Stephanie Leigh Photography

The words "Simply Charming" come to mind when I look back at Paul and Debbie's wedding.  From the soft pallet to the choice of flowers and greenery, and even the use of miniature succulent plants wrapped in burlap as their wedding favors for the guests.  Everything came together to make an enchanted day for the bride and groom.

Debbie chose roses and spray roses in soft pinks and peaches, with airy tufts of cream astilbe and succulents nestled in a loose mix of lush greenery like seeded eucalyptus and bay leaf.  This soft mix coordinated perfectly with her delicate lace dress and long, sheer veil.  Her maids held smaller versions of Debbie's bouquet, and the men were dressed to match with spray rose boutonnieres accented with the same lush greenery.

The centerpieces included a mix of vintage bottles filled with the same soft flowers used in the bouquets, were placed on birch slices, and accented with small succulent plants wrapped in burlap for each guest to take home.

It was so wonderful to be a part of Paul and Debbie's special day. Congratulations!

Hubbard Park Wedding

Stacy and Matt's Wedding!

Ceremony and Reception: Hubbard Park, Milwaukee
Flowers: Bank of Flowers
Photographer: Vital Image
Month: August

I can't think of a cheerier flower than the Gerbera Daisy.  Something about this flower just makes people smile, and so it was a very fitting flower for Stacy and Matt's special day, where smiles could be found everywhere you look!
Stacy chose a palette of white, peach and coral, a perfect compliment to the robins egg blue dresses. The bouquets were made from white hydrangeas, soft peach stock, peach and coral roses, and coral gerberas.  The men wore double spray rose boutonnieres in coral, with white for the groom.
The aisle was decorated with hanging vases filled with white hydrangeas, and the reception tables were simply charming with coral gerberas in a vase accented with the robins egg blue ribbon.
This was such a fun color scheme and look, and it was so much fun to be a part of Stacy and Matt's special day!  Congratulations!

Daisy Daydreams Turn Into Love!!!

Katrine & Ben
Ceremony: Christ Lutheran Church
Reception: Legend at Bristlecone
Month: June
Florist: Bank of Memories & Flowers
Photographer: Spinnaker Photography
Cake: Sweet Perfections

I remember being a child, and plucking daisy petals from a blossom..."He loves me, he loves me not..."  So, the daisy can also be a floral symbol of love and affection, not just the red rose.

Katrine and Ben chose Gerbera Daisies as the focal flower for their special day!   They can be found in the bridal bouquets, the boutonnieres were mini-gerberas, the isle flowers were cute gerbera blossoms in hanging vases, and the centerpieces came alive with fun, vibrant colors of gerbera daisies as well!

The bridal bouquets were a lovely combination of gerberas, peonies, roses, spray roses, stock, and rice flower in shades of peach.  They really popped against the coral dresses!

The boutonnieres were mini-gerbera blossoms in a soft peach with bear grass accents.

For their reception decor, Katrine and Ben chose three styles of centerpieces to fill the room, which gave a fun, whimsy feel and a lot of variety to a large space.   The first style was a simple rectangle glass vase filled with river rocks, and accented with bright gerbera blossoms and a candle floating.

The second style was a round low bowl with three bright floating blossoms, and to make it pop, three tiered glass stemmed votives with floating candles all around to give a warm glow at night.

The third style was a long slender glass vase filled with gerbera blossoms and teal decor wire under water, with a floating candle to top it off.

The cake was also adorned with shades of peach gerberas, roses, and rice flower to match the decor.

It was a pleasure to service your wedding and be a part of your special day Katrine and Ben!

Bishops Bay Wedding

Bishops Bay Wedding, Madison, WI

Month: July
Ceremony and Reception: Bishops Bay Country Club
Flowers: Bank of Memories & Flowers

When family friends Kristin and Aaron asked us to travel to Madison to do their wedding flowers, we were over-the-moon honored!  The happy couple chose to have their ceremony and reception in the historical manor at Bishops Bay Country Club in Middleton, WI.

The ceremony site was nestled under hundred-year-old oak trees and breathtaking views of our state capital over Lake Mendota.  Aaron's father re-purposed old barn beams to create an arch to frame the ceremony site.  The beams were covered with hydrangeas, lilies, stock, roses, delphinium, curly willow, and peonies!  The bride's aisle was scrolled with fresh white rose petals, and floral bouquets lined the chairs.

After the ceremony, guests walked across the lawn along a pathway lined with hanging glass bottles filled with candles and hydrangeas in Kristin's signature wedding color of teal. The cocktail space featured stunning views of Madison.  Guests found their name beautifully painted on old window panels for what table they would sit at.

The centerpieces were mounds of garden flowers designed in shabby chic wooden boxes that filled the tent with the fragrance of roses and peonies.  The 3-tier cake was a stunning focal, which sat over a floating bed of flower blossoms!

Thank you to Aaron and Kristin for letting us be a part of their wedding day and creating memories for us to share in the future.

Megan + Josh = Wedding

Florist: Bank of Memories & Flowers
Month: June

We had the distinct honor of providing the bouquets, aisle adornments, and centerpieces for Megan and Josh's wedding last month. The entire day had an elegantly modern feel from the venue to the black dresses and linens which allowed the flowers to really make a statement.

For aisle decorations the bride and groom chose candles surrounded by petals in a vase with ribbon and a rhinestone buckle around. It was a perfect way to make the room feel more romantic. At the front of the room stood two large iron stands with vases and fresh flowers in limes and fuchsias. Curly willow shooting out the top had crystals dripping from it and also from the branches hung candles in votives to make the crystals sparkle that much more.

The Bride's bouquet consisted of white roses, ranunculous, and calla lilies. Lime green hydrangea and lime cymbidium orchids added a subtle touch of color. Pearls and rhinestones were included throughout to compliment Meghan's gorgeous bling dress.
The groom had a beautiful white ranunculous and white rose to match the bride's bouquet.

The girl's bouquets popped against the black backdrop of the bridesmaids' satin dresses. The bouquets consisted of hot pink roses, fragrant fuchsia stock and peonies, white freesia and ranunculous and lime green hydrangea. Gorgeous and bold!
The groomsmen and other gentlemen had two fuchsia spray roses that looked fabulous with the white and black tuxes.

In the reception ballroom, Bank of Memories transformed the aisle decor to centerpieces to accompany large arrangements with towering curly willow. More crystals and votives were found hanging from these centerpieces to make the Grand Empire Ballroom seem that much more magnificent. We spread fuchsia petals around the cake as well as around some of the centerpieces to complete the look.

It was such a beautiful day for a beautiful couple. Congratulations again, Megan & Josh!! Thank you for letting us be a part of your gorgeous day!
